I am somewhat hopeful that the fact that SNL is satirizing the exploitative, wasteful and frankly, gross ultra #fastfashion industry is indicative of the beginnings of consumer awareness of just how bad companies like SHEIN and Temu are for people and our planet. We need to accelerate our efforts to move away from fast fashion and towards #circularfashion, and key to that is going to be making it easier for everyday citizens to make smarter choices with their hard earned money.
